Everton v Watford

Football - Premier League - 05 Nov 16:30

Everton languish in 18th place in the Premier League table. They've only picked up 1 point from their last 4 league games and that came courtesy of a last minute penalty away to Brighton.

In all competitions Everton has suffered 5 straight defeats. Koeman got it completely wrong in the transfer window although you have to wonder if bringing Rooney back was his idea in the 1st place. Everton have only scored 7 goals in 10 Premier League games. Rooney is past his best and they've had to recall Niasse who last season was told he had no future at the club.

Watford have been excellent under Marco Silva so far this season, the surprise package you could say. Their best performances have been on their travels where they boast an impressive 3-1-1 record. It should really have been 4-1-0 as they had Chelsea on the ropes at Stamford Bridge and wasted some excellent opportunities before the late comeback.

Deeney is suspended for Watford but he hasn't played a big role this season, especially in the away games. Gray & Richarlison certainly provide enough of a goal threat for the away team.

From what we have seen so far this season Watford are the better team and it wouldn't be a surprise to see them inflict a 6th straight defeat on managerless Everton this weekend.
