Arsenal Und 0.5 vs Man United

Football - Premier League - 02 Dec 17:30

The way Mourinho sets up for these away games is well known and has come in for criticism over the years. It's very much a defence first approach. Limiting the opponents chances as the main objective and then trying to sneak a goal on the break. We've already seen this tactic this season away at Chelsea and Liverpool and at home to Spurs - with these games seeing only 2 goals in total.

It was a similar case last season with Man United, under Mourinho, registering goalless draws away at both Liverpool and Man City. Even in his disastrous last season at Chelsea, he set up his team to earn a clean sheet at Arsenal, Man United and Spurs.

I feel a lot more confident in Man United's defence with the return of Rojo who is more comfortable in closing the channel left behind when Young is caught up the pitch. Both sides are also likely to play 3 at the back which may neutralise Arsenal's success with this system in recent weeks.

Lacazette picked up a groin injury in midweek and will miss this game. Sanchez is also a minor doubt for this one with a tight hamstring.

Odds suggest a 26% of another classic Mourinho result. Unfortunately, for all of us that are going to watch it, the chances of that are a bit higher in my opinion.
