League 1 Fleetwood to finish in the top six

Football - League 1 - 30 Apr 15:00

Fleetwood seem overpriced given they finished 4th last season. Uwe Rosler built a contending side last year with little time and resources but when you consider his pedigree that isn’t too much of a shock. This summer they've lost David Ball and Conor McLaughlin but Conor McAleny and Lewis Coyle replace them while Jordy Hiwula adds an extra attacking option. They had the 2nd best defensive record in the league and were able to grind out results which is key to success in the Football League. Lewis Coyle slotted into a solid Leeds defence at times last season and those minutes should stand him in good stead. The loan signing of Aiden O’Neil will strengthen them even further. He will bring strong running and suits Uwe Rosler’s style of play. I expect another strong showing from Fleetwood and 7/2 for a top six finish is a big price.
