Athletic Bilbao v Ostersunds 60+ Booking Points

Football - Europa League - 02 Nov 20:05

Only one game that sticks out for me in the late games, and that's the one in Bilbao. People are really starting to sit up and take note of this Swedish side, led by Englishman, Graham Potter. Probably the majority of people out there had written these boys off when the groups were drawn, yet halfway through they sit top with 7 points, unbeaten so far.

They went to Ukraine and beat Zorya, who actually beat Bilbao at San Mames 0-1. Bilbao are 4 points adrift of 2nd place and a win here is surely a must for the Spaniards - who have struggled so far this season (15th in La Liga).

Now, none of the games involving these sides have seen this number of cards yet, but we are starting to get to the business end of the group stages. I like to back games where the away side have a chance of winning/leading for parts of the game and I think that is the case here. Bilbao were outplayed in the first leg, and an 89th minute equaliser made it 2-2. I fancy this game to be much closer than the bookies suggest.

The ref for this one is Pawel Gil from Poland. He averages 5.25 cards per game in 40 European games. Now, I could have gone for the 50+ at 2.00, as he has shown 5 or more in 24/40. However, when he gets the cards out, he tends to keep them out, and he has shown 6 or more in 20/40, which makes me lean towards the higher line for the most value. Well worth £10.
