Tottenham v Manchester United

Football - England Premier League - 31 Jan 20:00

Tottenham take on Manchester United in the English Premier League.

Most definitely the biggest game of the evening with Spurs hosting Manchester United at Wembley.. Spurs have certainly made Wembley their new home for this season, and have surprisingly settled in very well with only the one defeat so far coming early in the campaign against Chelsea losing 2-1. Only Chelsea and Liverpool have rocked up at Wembley so far, they beat Liverpool convincingly 4-1 in a game were goals are likely given Liverpool's fragility at defending. Spurs record against the top six hasn't been particularly very good losing already to Manchester City, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea. in the league.

Manchester United have a fantastic record at Wembley winning their last 6 visits in all cup competitions scoring at least twice.

I believe Man Utd have become much stronger with the addition of Alexis Sanchez and I think that was a crude bit of business. Manchester United are in great form winning 5 out of 6 on the road in recent games, and have scored 2+ goals in 5/6

I can't see Mourinho going for anything but the win in this. If he treats this like a cup final then I think Manchester United will have the edge over Spurs.

Spurs put out a descent line up against Newport County in the FA Cup, so Manchester United should be the fresher of the two. Spurs lost the reverse fixture 1-0 at Old Trafford.
