Plymouth v AFC Wimbledon

Football - England League One - 13 Feb 19:45

Plymouth take on AFC Wimbledon in the English League One.

What a turnaround for Plymouth and Derek Adams Pilgrims. After a torrid few months at the beginning of the season they have managed to drag themselves into contention for the play off places and now sit in 10th only 5 points off the top 6.

It's taking time for Adams to find the right way to play and the formation that works best for the team. He has been guilty of tinkering with the formation from game to game, but now looks to have found a settled formation that's creating goals and more fundamentally results.

The light has certainly been switched on for Plymouth over recent games. They came away from Shrewsbury with a 2-1 victory, only the second team to do so this season, and managed to keep Blackburn out in their last home game, with a 2-0 victory at the beginning of February

Over their last 15 games Plymouth have picked up 9 wins and 3 draws (30pts) and sit only behind Wigan (31pts) and Blackburn (32pts) in terms of points accumulated over that period. Plymouth have won 4 out of their last 5 at home, and have scored 11 and conceded 4

AFC Wimbledon currently sit just one point off the relegation places and have lost their last 3 in the league. They have lost 8 on the road, managed only 1 win in their last 7, and were beaten 2-1 away to bottom side Bury in their last away game.

Getting over even money for a team at home and in form looks to be great value, so I'm backing Plymouth to continue this impressive run this evening.
