Exeter v Yeovil

Football - England League 2 - 13 Mar 19:45

Exeter rescued a points against Carlisle at the weekend to keep their play-off hopes alive.

Exeter are battling hard to remain in the play-offs but one slip up could see them move from 6th to 10th.

Exeter have one of the best home records in the league winning 11/17 games.

Only Chesterfield have a worse away record than Yeovil. Yeovil have only managed to pick up 10 points from a possible 48 losing 10/16 games. The only top side they have taken points from on their travels is Mansfield. This fixture ended 0-0. Other than that they have Lost every game.

Exeter hit a bit of a dip in form during the Christmas fixtures but they have soon shaken that off and reunited as a team. The hosts are unbeaten in 3 and hoping to make it 4 tomorrow.

As for Yeovil they are low on confidence losing 4 games on the bounce and only managing to score 1 goal. Fans are begging to show their frustration as they could be battling relegation very shortly.

Few of the fans reactions:

Few weeks ago I tweeted that we should be safe now, oh how I was wrong. I genuinely believe we are going down #YTFC

Lack of goals in recent games is a concern too. One in four, and that was the result of a defensive howler in a game in which #YTFC were already 4-0 down.

It’s absolutely not the players. We can see the players are giving their all. It’s the hopeless bloke who sends them out there. #ytfc

Times are not looking good for Yeovil and too add insult to injury they are without all of the following for the trip. Their captain - Darren Ward, Jake Gray, Artur Krysiak, Nathan Smith, Dan Alfei and James Bailey all out. Otis Khan and Nathan Smith a doubt.

Exeter are only 2 points above Lincoln, Swindon and the inform Coventry. If they want any chance of promotion you have to win these fixtures.

Stockley is a great player and will be hoping to add to his 12 goal talley.

Taking everything into account I fancy the hosts to take all 3 points.
