Swansea v Notts County 1st Goalscorer: Tammy Abraham - Each Way

Football - England: FA Cup - 06 Feb 20:05

With Bony out, Abraham is the only true out and out striker Swansea have at the minute.

I think the likes of Ayew and Narsingh will feature but they usually take up the wide attacking roles of the 4-3-3.

Abraham will likely be deployed through the middle, his natural position. He's only started 16 times this season and I think he'll feature here, he didn't play in the last game against Leicester so should be fully rested.

In all competitions Abraham has only netted 5 times, the first goal scorer part winning 2 of those times.

Although he didn't score against Notts in the away leg, he didn't play the full 90 and was once again shifted to the left wing, i think he'll have more success here with the added bonus of being on home turf.

His goalscoring record this season doesn't exactly scream confidence in this but he has scored against Milton Keynes this season in the league cup who are a similar quality to Notts County and we should all remember this is the lad who banged in 20+ goals in the championship as a teenager.

I think he just needs a run of games in his natural position and against lower league opposition at home, where Swansea have enjoyed recent wins against Arsenal and Liverpool, he should get on the scoresheet. He's around even money to score anytime.

Swansea dominated the away leg 74% possession and 16 attempts on goal so i thought the draw was somewhat misleading and despite the Swans only forecast to score around two goals, given their recent form i think they can sweep notts aside here with the young striker leading the line. Swansea are around 1/2 favourites to win this game.

Bet 365 offer 1/3 odds on the each way on 1st goalscorer and at 4/1 best price for the main striker two divisions above the opposition at home seems way too big. 15 point each way stake.
