Colin Osborne vs Michael Van Gerwen

This darts betting tip comes from the PDC World Championship and the 1st Round match between Colin Osborne and Michael Van Gerwen.
The rankings are there for a reason, to tell us who the best players in the World are.
So it's a surprise to see a player ranked 21 in the PDC, Evens to beat the player ranked 38.
There is only so long a player can be touted as a future star and Van Gerwen continues to disappoint on the PDC.
So what if he was the youngest player ever to win the World Masters, what has he done since? Not a lot is the answer.
His form on the floor has been poor and in the last PDC event he was beaten by Brendan Dolan and Steve Beaton. We saw how badly those two performed in recent days at Ally Pally.
He also suffered a whitewash at the expense of Gary Anderson in the recent Players Championship.
Van Gerwen might prove me wrong and go onto become a world beater but right now I am happy to bet against him.
Osborne is a very consistent player and recently won a PDC event in Germany.
He's also made Quarter Finals on the floor in Holland (2), Spain and Crawley.
I think the fact he's not had a good run in a TV event of late, is the reason we are seeing good odds on him to beat Van Gerwen.
He has faced the youngster twice in TV events beating him 8-2 in the last 16 of the Players Championsip and 11-7 in the last 32 of the UK Open.
Of course this won't be easy but I expect Osborne to show us why he is ranked 17 places above Van Gerwen and win this match in 4 or 5 sets.
