PDC World Championship 2nd Quarter Raymond Van Barneveld

Darts - PDC World Championship - 15 Dec 19:00

Van Barneveld has reached at least the quarter-finals stage of the last three major ranking televised matches, losing out to the current world champion twice and the world number one.
Barney's game looked in good shape at the previous big event where he averaged over 100 on three of his four games. Indeed it took a 108 average from Michael Van Gerwen to stop him.
It is a tough quarter though for Barney to come out in top of with it looking likely he will face Adrian Lewis and Phil Taylor at the last 16 stage and quarter-finals respectively.
Kim Huybrechts might have something to say about that though. Raymond has came out in top on Adrian Lewis in the previous two televised meetings just recently and he did knock him out at the Worlds two years ago.
Phil Taylor on the other hand has an excellent record on knockout televised matches but Barney has started to get the better of him in the big Premier League matches in recent years. Phil Taylor's game looked patchy at his most recent event where he was unbelievably nilled 5-0 by Darren Webster before Snakebite Peter Wright knocked him out at the quarter-finals.
Overall wouldn't go too heavy on this but it represents some good value as Barney has had some of his best performances on recent years on the Ally Pally stage including knocking out the what seemed the unstoppable Michael Van Gerwen last year.
