Steve Lennon v Jamie Hughes

Darts - Grand Slam of Darts - 12 Nov 20:15

Happy to give Steve Lennon another shot tonight. As expected he put in a good performance against Gerwyn Price in the 1st match losing 5-3 despite a 3 figure average from his opponent. Lennon averaged 96.9 and didn't looked phased by the big stage.

He's played nearly 200 matches this year thanks to the Development Tour and I think winning becomes a habit. What really caught my attention was his 3 wins to qualify for this event. He beat Cullen, Beaton and van den Bergh. 3 players who have been playing really well lately.

Jamie Hughes was less impressive averaging only 85.13 in his 5-1 defeat to Barney. His results on the BDO circuit this season have been mixed including a disappointing defeat in the L32 on the World Masters. I fancy Lennon to win this one and 6/5 looks decent.
