Gerwyn Price v Steve Lennon Most 180s

I'm keen to back Steve Lennon this evening. The youngster from Ireland beat 3 in form players to qualify for this event in van den Bergh, Joe Cullen and Steve Beaton, so he's clearly playing some very good darts.

I'm not that keen on the 2/1 match price and think the 180 market is a better option. We have limited stats for Lennon but Price is hardly prolific on the treble 20. In 2017 Price averages 0.235 180s per leg, Lennon is 0.227 (small sample).

When they met 6 weeks ago in the International Darts Open Price won 6-4 but it was 2-2 on the 180s front.

You'd worry about nerves with a young player like Lennon but those European Tour events are played on big stages in front of large crowds and TV cameras so this isn't a new experience.

He's the rightful underdog in both markets but I think there's enough value in this price to warrant half stakes. Sportingbet are offering these odds. CLICK HERE to join and get up to £50 in free bets. T&Cs apply.
