South Africa Top Bowler: Rabada V India

Cricket - One day international - 07 Feb 11:00

India have been increasingly dominant with the ball and as such South Africa had a below par total to bowl at in the first game and no total at all in the second match and as such South Africa's bowlers have not had a chance to make any impact in the series.

If the trend continues as is well possible with SA missing lots of batting and the rest of the order looking out of sorts against India's spin duo - Opening the bowling could well be a distinct advantage if India were to not need their full 50 overs.

Rabada is a fine bowler in his own right and will be keen to make an impact in the series as one of the premier bowlers in the world.

The game is a day/night affair and there has often been considerable help under the Newlands lights in the evening which would give a class bowler helpful conditions to assist him.

He looked good in the last game taking an early wicket and involved in a fine dual with India's star player Kohli and was a shame that the game was over so quickly with such a low total needed by India that it was impossible to see how it would have ended up.

Should be very competitive in this field.
