Titans V Sixers

Cricket - Bangladesh Premier League - 15 Nov 07:00

The Sixers look an under rated side in the first few weeks of the BPL. They do not have the star names in their line up that other sides can claim. They do look to have a settled side though and is sometimes very difficult in franchise cricket seem to have players who have gelled well together and have set roles in the side.

Their strength has been their power at the start of the innings with the bat with Upul Tharanga having passed 50 - 3 times out of 5 at the top of the innings an excellent return in a role of high risk taking advantage of the power play, along with Andre Fletcher who has scores of 63, 36 and 48 behind him and the pair have given the Sixers brilliant starts and got them ahead of the game very early, this has been complimented by useful hitters in the middle order who have all played good cameos and got runs on the board.

They are well balanced with the ball, again no world stars but a variety of 3 left arm seamers to select from and good spin options in captain Hossain and Taijul Islam bowling well in the crucial middle overs to really restrict opposition.

They have won 3 out of 5 games but crucially have both games against Dhaka out the way who look by far and away the strongest side, tomorrow looks a real 50/50 affair against a similar outfit in the Titans and as such I like the look of 2.30 on the Sixers.
