Sydney Sixers v Perth Scorchers

Cricket - Big Bash - 23 Dec 05:10

The Sixers came so close to beating Sydney Thunders but a brilliant performance from Shane Watson took the game away from them. Luckily for the Sixers Perth Scorchers have 13 Fit players at a push and WHERE heavily relying on the likes of Klinger, Voges and Willey to get runs on the board. Unfortunately for Perth Klinger is not in the squad because of personal reasons so this puts even more pressure on these two.

The middle order is inexperienced and I highly doubt it will be able to cope with Sixers bowling.

For Perth 3 of their main players are with the national team because of the Ashes – Shaun Marsh, Mitch Marsh and Cameron Bancroft. Their main bowlers Nathan Coulter-Nile and Jason Behrendorff are injured. Along with Cam Green and Sam Whiteman who are also injured.

Taking into account the squad Perth have out can’t see them winning.

For the Sixers Jason Roy will be looking to find some form after scoring only 2 runs last game. He has some incredible talent it just depends which Roy turns up. Sixers have a strong squad batters wise: Roy, Hughes, Henriques, Billings, and Botha. Bowling wise Botha Sams, Abbott and O’Keefe.
