Hobart vs Adelaide - Colin Ingram man of the match
Ingram hasn't really got going as yet in this tournament (scores of 15, 15 and 23) but that now gives us a big price based on his T20 career as a whole.
In 2017 he won the MOTM award 3 times in 24 games in England and his native South Africa.
In 2016 it was 2/24 in those leagues, so the ability is definitely there. He's not being playing his natural game so far, he's been quite circumspect and it might have been the pressure of being an overseas player in a new league. At some stage soon he's going to release the shackles and take the game by the scruff of the neck.
He's been batting 4, so if early wickets fall he will get the opportunity to bat deep or if the Strikers set a solid platform then he can play the explosive innings that turns a par score into a winning score.
Looking at prices, the Strikers are 4/6 shots here and have looked a far more consistent and competent side compared to the Hurricanes.
For the MOTM market, Ingram is still as short as 9/1 in places so 15/1 with Bet365 looks too big for a real match-winner. Half stakes, as I'd like him to have imposed himself on one of the games so far.
