Golden State v Portland

Basketball - NBA - 14 Apr 03:30

This basketball betting tip comes from the NBA and the match between Golden State Warriors and Portland
The Portland Trail Blazers (48-33) have won 12 of their last 15 games and come into their last match of the
season in high spirits having cemented their place as 6th in the Western Conference with last nights win over
They will be looking for payback against a Golden State Warriors(35-46) side who beat them only last week.
However Golden State's star performer Monta Ellis who shot 11 out of 19 from the field and hit 30 points in that
match will not play in tonights match due to a concussion.
Golden State have lost their last two matches without Ellis to Denver on the road and surprisingly to struggling
Sacramento at home.
They seem to be a much worse team without Ellis and have even lost all 6 matches this season that Ellis has
failed to play more than 30 minutes in.
Portland are a very balanced side as was seen in last nights win to Memphis.
They had 5 players scoring in the double digits and they also get a lot of help from their bench, which means
even if they decide to give some of their regulars a few less minutes in todays game they should still have
enough strength to cover an Ellis-less Golden State side.
Golden State also have Stephen Curry as questionable for the game and he is their second highest points
scorer after Ellis.

If both these players are missing they are going to find it extremely tough against a strong Portland side.
At these odds it is hard not to have a bet on Portland given their current form.
With Ellis out and Curry 50/50 for the game I definitely think Portland should be slight favourites and anything
over evens is great value.
