Minnesota Timberwolves vs Oklahoma City Thunder -2

Basketball - NBA - 28 Oct 01:00

This one is for the Oklahoma City Thunder to win their game against the Minnesota Timberwolves by at least 3 points. They will be very motivated here after Minnesota won against them last week with an incredible buzzer beater by Andrew Wiggins. Oklahoma was a good team playing in revenge situations last season with a 9-3-1 ATS record after they lost the direct meeting as favorites. Since 2010 they are 68-38 ATS in the same situation.

Oklahoma have 2 new stars in Melo and George. Along Westbrook they will form one of the best teams in the NBA and I expect them to get better in time after this 2-2 start. They will need some time to gel and get used playing along each other. The same thing can be said about the T'wolves too because they have 3 new starters in Butler, Teague and Gibson.

Minnesota missed Jimmy Butler 2 games and they were terrible without him. They lost against a pretty bad Pacers team by 23 points and the lost against the Pistons by 20+ too. Butler should be back tonight but he still has to deal with some respiratory infection.

I like how OKC matches up against the T'wolves. They can throw 2 great defenders (Robertson and George at Butler and Wiggins, Westbrook should dominate Teague) and Adams can at least try to slow down Towns. Anthony who is not the best defender at this point of his career will only have to defend Gibson, who is only the 5th option on Minnesota offense.
