Dallas Mavericks v Golden State Warriors: 1st Half -13.5

Basketball - NBA - 24 Oct 01:30

Warriors lost 2 of 3 games this season & it's not the start of the season they were expecting. Last game was really emotional for them and it was clear, that they wan't to win it badly. This one would be a B2B road game for them, but I don't think it would affect them much. In my opinion, Mavericks is the right opponent to get back on track with a huge win. I think this game would be a blowout from the get go, but since they like to sit starters in 4th quarter in similar games, I'm not really confident with a big handicap for full-time. Stephen Curry was fined 50,000$ for throwing mouthpiece in direction of a referee last night, but he was not suspended & would play today. Omri Casspi is also ready to step on the court for Warriors if necessary. So, they are at full strenght coming to Dallas. And last year they were most scoring team in the 1st half with 59.6 points per game, while Mavericks were 3rd worst with 49.4 points per game. In addition, Warriors had the best point differencial with +5.8, while Mavericks had -2.2 & was on the bottom (8th worst out of 30).

Both teams haven't changed much during offseason - Dallas just added Dennis Smith Jr. to run the point, while Warriors added some rotational players like Casspi, Young & Bell. Last year they met 3 times & Warriors won all of these games, including all 1st halfs - by 12, 11 & 31 points. Mavericks lost all 3 opening games of this season & twice lost the first half - by 11 to Hawks & by 23 to Rockets. Today Warriors are coming with a mission & I believe they would just pound the Mavericks in the first half of the game by double digits. Odds should be even, in my opinion.
