Cavaliers vs Bulls

Basketball - NBA - 24 Jan 01:40

I couldn't resist backing the Chicago Bulls (24-18) after the last week the Cavaliers (30-11) have had.
They almost unbelievably dismissed their coach David Blatt on Thursday, his .732 winning percentage is the highest for a coach fired this late in a season (YahooSports). General manager described why he made the decision as follows, 'There's a lack of connectedness and spirit that I just couldn't accept', however Cavs fans liked Blatt and I think the atmosphere in the crowd may be subdued here.
They now have a rookie coach in charge of his 1st ever NBA game.
They also lost 2 games in the last week, albeit against top teams. They were demolished on this court by 34 points by Golden State on Monday.
They've also struggled against fellow teams in the Central Division, losing 3 of 5 games so far.
The Bulls haven't been on a great run themselves but historically have been a perrenial thorn in the side of the Cavs, they've won 16 of the last 21 regular season games against Cleveland.
They've won on 7 of their last 10 visits here. (Although this goes back to pre-Lebron's return).
More recently they have won 2 of 3 regular season games against the Cavs, including their one meeting so far this season, 97-95.
They'll be after revenge after losing in last years playoffs, 4-2. They won 2 of 6, which suggests these odds are generous. They won 1 of the 3 games on this court in that series.
This year they've had a number of injury problems but they've managed 8 road wins including in Detroit, Oklahoma & Toronto.
I think there's huge pressure on Lebron James here, most people believe he played a huge part in Blatt's dismissal and I can see him possibly trying too much here, add to that Jimmy Butler will be guarding him and I see him potentially having a difficult evening.
Seeing money coming in for the Cavs, and I think the Bulls are a huge value play here; although they could well drift further.
